Manchester United Stadium Tour, Enterpise Challenge Winners - Yr 5.

Our Year 5 winners have reaped their reward and had an exciting visit to the Manchester United Stadium.  They have been able to look in the Trophy room with an immense array of Silverware, and have a look around the "Theatre of Dreams".  What a fantastic prize.

A selection of our Key Stage 2 children have been to visit some of the elderly within the community.   They had a lovely relaxing afternoon reading their favourite stories and playing games with them.   For many elderly people it is  sad to say that many may not often get visitors.  As part of linking within our community the children have been to visit and  spent and enjoyable afternoon talking to many of the residents.   It is hoped that they may be able to come and visit the children in school to watch some of our parades or assemblies.

Continuing with the Love for reading, our Yr 4 children have been to visit Our Local Library at the Swinton Gateway,  they have been able to look around and enjoy a variety of Books.   They children have also been given applications to complete to join the library if they do not already.    So please sign up today and enjoy the read!

After another successful Book Fair again this year, we would like to thank all who came, supported and bought books.  School have now been able to choose a variety of books to add to our reading collection for the children.
